Backcountry Ski Week - 5 Days

This week-long trip is designed for backcountry skiers or boarders with some experience and avalanche training who want to take their abilities to the next level on a fun trip.

Skills covered include:

• Skiing techniques for all snow conditions.

• Uphill skinning efficiency.
  

• Snow camping and backcountry cuisine.
  

• Route finding and navigation.

• Group avalanche rescue techniques.

• Tour planning and emergency management.

• Uphill tracksetting techniques.

• Avalanche hazard awareness and risk management techniques.
  

• Group management and decision-making practices.
  

Backcountry boarding in RMNP,  CO.

This five-day seminar takes place entirely in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park.

A Level 1 Avalanche Course precededs this trip from March 22-24th, combine both L1 and this trip for an 8 day experience and receive 10% discount ($120 off).

Splitboards, Tele, and AT are all welcome to join the fun!

All ski seminars are lead by an AMGA Aspirant or Certified Ski Mountaineering Guide w/ Level 3 Avalanche Certification.
